SWEET SUMMER MEMORIES WITH BABY

Sharing is caring!

Summer may not be officially here yet, but the temperatures sure do feel like summer! Now is the time you’ll finally be able to go enjoy the outdoors with your baby. If you’re wondering what your tiny baby can do then you’re in luck! Trust me, I’ve been there Googling “things to do in the summer with my baby”. Heck I Googled “what to do with my newborn” the day I brought them home! I thought surely I should be entertaining them! Alas, babies can amuse and entertain themselves for quite a while, but when they start reaching, grabbing and moving all around that’s when you can step in with some fun, safe summer activities.

There are so many fun things you can do with your baby during the summer like blowing bubbles, berry picking, taking a family trip to the zoo, and swimming in the pool. What I’m most looking forward to is getting out of the house and experiencing a different adventure every weekend. From pool days at the grandparent’s to backyard hangs on the swings, splashing in the water table and running through sprinklers. The possibilities are endless.

In preparation for all the summer fun, we headed to Babies “R” Us to grab a few essentials like oh-so-adorable bathing suits, baby sunscreen for all the outdoor adventures, and of course diapers! If you head to Babies “R” Us between 6/4-6/10 and purchase any 2 packs of Pampers Super Packs of Diapers, Easy-Ups Training Pants and Swaddler Overnites you’ll receive a FREE $10 gift card! Score! (Additional $20 gift card available 6/16-7/4 in-store only with purchase of 2 Pampers Value Boxes.)

One of my fondest memories of Isabella’s first summer was spreading a sheet out in the backyard and having a finger painting session. I laid out a piece of poster board and squirted on a few colors of washable finger paints and let my little Picasso make her magic. At the end I snapped a couple photos of her art work and her messy hands to put in a frame. This framed memory is currently sitting on display in our house and makes me smile every time I look at it.

At the end of the day, it’s all about making memories you’ll treasure forever. Head to Babies “R” Us to grab all your must-haves like Pampers Swaddlers to keep baby clean and dry through all your summer adventures. The wetness indicator is so handy for letting you know when baby needs to be changed so they can continue having fun in all their activities. Pampers Swaddlers come with a 12 hour overnight protection allowing your baby to get much needed sleep after a full day of fun. Don’t forget to grab a bottle of Dreft baby detergent to tackle all those messy stains with its safe, gentle composition.

Aw this is so sweet! I'm really excited about doing all of the summer things. This is really the first summer where my daughter can actually do things and talk to us about it.
