JUST POP AND COOK: EASY, FLAVORFUL SKIRT STEAK TACOS

Cooking used to be my jam. I would spend hours in the kitchen crafting up meals with fresh ingredients that really wow’ed my husband. He’ll be the first to tell you that once we had our first kid that was first to go. Gone were the extensive meal preps and flavorful creations. Whatever I could get on the table in the least amount of time was my go-to. All this time I was sacrificing fresh flavors and I didn’t need to!

Typically I utilize Walmart’s grocery pickup for our weekly groceries and supplies, but I happened to be out so I figured I would get it all done. As I was wandering the frozen veggie aisle I spotted these Pop and Cook All Natural seasonings. They were a great price so I decided to give them a try and surprise my husband with a meal that I always used to make. The best part was it only took a fraction of the time and cleanup without sacrificing any of the flavor. Now I call that a #MomWin! While I was at Walmart I picked up the remainder of the ingredients to make Skirt Steak tacos. Check out how good they look! I’m still patting myself on the back here. 😉

One of my biggest peeves about cooking with fresh herbs was that a recipe would call for a small portion (a little goes a long way) and then the remainder of the herbs would go bad. Now I don’t have to worry about wasting ingredients. My husband was amazed at all the flavor this dish served up. I think he really enjoyed getting a glimpse of the old version of myself that had the time to spare creating lengthy meals in the kitchen. I love that now I have the option to cook flavorful dishes without all the time or clean-up!
