Modern home decor has always been my personal style. That is until Chip & JoJo came around and made me question everything I ever believed in. I’ve slowly started coming around to #shiplap walls, white-washed furniture and now the classic magnolia wreath. I started pricing a few and honestly did find a reasonably priced Magnolia Wreath at Kohl’s, but figured I could still probably make it to save a few bucks. (Some were upwards to $100!)
This tutorial is super short and really, really easy to do. So even if you’re not a crafty person, you got this! Check out the video tutorial and written instructions below!
DIY Farmhouse Magnolia Wreath
18-20″ grapevine wreath (I got mine at Walmart for less than $5)
1 magnolia leaf stem (purchased from Hobby Lobby using 40% off coupon found in the app)
While your glue gun is heating up, remove all the leaves from the stem. They should just pull right off.
Place a line of glue down the back of the stem about halfway down. Press firmly onto the grapevine wreath.
Repeat staggering leaves a few inches apart, just enough so that you can completely cover the entire wreath with the leaves you have.
You may need to go back at the end and place some glue under the leaves that seem to be lifting a bit.
