The first day of school can bring nervousness, excitement and anxiety for little ones, especially if they’re starting a new school. One of the things that truly helps my children prepare is just having discussions about it. We talk about what to expect, the fun they’ll have, new friends to make, etc. Keeping an open, on-going conversation about new changes usually will set their minds at ease. My kids LOVE reading all kinds of books, so what better way to prepare for the first day of school than through reading!
