Since becoming a mom, I have to admit my style has drastically changed. I no longer have this teeny tiny waist (insert ugly cry) and therefore, tight fitting clothing is not an option for me. I’ve always feared turning into a frumpy mom, but thankfully there are plenty of flattering pieces that are in style. One of my favorite trendy online boutiques is Pink Blush (you’ve probably heard me mention them before!). I’m obsessed! Recently I’ve gone through my closet and came to terms with my new style, so I’ve decided to share my 3 closet staples every mom should own!

FLOWY SHIRT

Every mom needs a cute shirt that doesn’t hug her midsection, but is still super stylish with a lace-up neckline. I’m loving the pop of this color (available in Ivory, Orange, and Yellow) and also the fact that it pairs easily with jeans, mom shorts, and I can even wear it to work. This truly is a versatile top. Pair with skinny jeans and a wedge sandal if you’re lucky enough to snag a babysitter for a date night!

MAXI DRESS

Have you ever tried to chase a child in an above-the-knee dress? You’re guaranteed to give near by spectators an eye-full. My go-to dress is a long maxi that can easily be knotted up when paired with sandals or left long with a wedge heel. LOUNGE PANTS

The first thing I do when I get home from work or running errands is to change back into my comfortable lounge pants. I just can’t do all the things at home wearing uncomfortable pants. It amazes me how much we move around as parents and I like to do so without always trying to suck in my muffin top. When I saw these polka dot pajama pants I knew I just had to have them.
