2 Ways to Enjoy Gerber Lil’ Bits

Sharing is caring!

Now that Gabriel is an official toddler he doesn’t eat too much baby food; however, he LOVES fruit and veggie pouches which are, yep, pureed baby food! As a working mom, I’m always looking for quick and easy alternatives, but without sacrificing my babies’ nutrition. I’m going to show you a couple simple ways to enjoy Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits that will save you time and your toddlers will enjoy.

If you’re not familiar with Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits, it is the next stage baby food for your little crawlers to transition from smooth purees to chunkier foods which helps get them ready for table food. With combinations like Apple Banana, Island Fruit BlendSweet Potato Apple Carrot And CinnamonChicken Itty-Bitty Noodle Dinner, and Mac & Cheese dinner you have everything you need for sides to main dishes. I love that Gabriel is getting all-natural ingredients without all the fuss and he’s able to explore new textures in order to grow his pallet and build a foundation for healthy nutrition.

We had some leftover Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits in the cabinet, so I started thinking of ways to use them. Obviously you can simply spoon feed your baby or allow them to practice with a spoon. This would be best when transitioning from smooth purees to solid foods.

The next way you can prepare your baby Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits is to make them a yogurt pouch. Simply mix 2.5 oz Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits of your choice with 1.5 oz organic whole milk yogurt. Pour into a reusable food pouch like this one. We also pair our food pouches with a Choomee topper to prevent spills and protect your little one’s mouth while feeding.

The Lil’ Bits were just the right size that they still fit through the pouch topper. Gabriel loved his yogurt!

With so many flavor options, you and your baby will never get bored!

Try these other flavors too: Apple Banana, Apple BlueberryBanana Apple Mango and check out Gerber’s website for more information on Crawler Nutrition.

Want to try mixing it up a little bit more? Check out these other ideas from fellow moms: Pumpkin Pops, Apple Blueberry Yogurt Parfait, and Mommy and Me Yogurt Parfaits.

Thanks to Gerber 3rd Foods Lil’ Bits for sponsoring this post and helping Gabriel successfully transition from purees to solid table food with ease. <3
