A Mother Daughter Getaway

Life has been a whirlwind since Gabriel was born. It was time for me to dedicate some special one on one time with my favorite girl on a mother daughter getaway.

One of my longest friends was being showered for her soon to be little baby girl so we embraced the opportunity for a girls trip to NJ. (I’ll be sharing some Tips for Traveling with a Toddler soon) I needed something to wear and if you saw my post a while back you’d know that I’m in love with Pink Blush Boutique. PinkBlush Boutique is a women’s online boutique with a wide selection of cute dresses for women. They have something for all women whether you’re pregnant, nursing, or just a lover of trendy fashion!

I chose this gorgeous Pink Blush Coral Floral Maxi Dress for the occasion. My mom bod is less than stellar these days (I’ll save that for another post), but this was the perfect dress to cover up any of my belly and thigh insecurities with it’s cinched waist and adjustable straps. You can easily dress it up with a gorgeous statement necklace and heels or dress it down with a pair of strappy sandals and a teething necklace #momlife. This maxi is available in coral, jade, and lavender.

One of the things I wanted to do on our trip was to have some photos taken of Isabella and I so that I would always remember our special trip. It just so happened that her 3rd birthday fell the day after we arrived!

Isabella was completely thrown off schedule during the trip and was on the verge of a tired meltdown before our session. Lexi completely turned her mood around and was able to get some gorgeous shots of my girl <3
