Happy Monday! It was quite the weekend. The kids, Tootsie and I got up bright & early for a holiday parade we thought the kids would really enjoy. Turns out it’s fairly new and needs a little work on improvement. We ditched it early and headed into the department store for a visit with Santa which actually was a good idea so that we didn’t have to wait in a crazy line with two impatient toddlers. Santa arrived and Gabriel was waving to him and I actually had hope there for a second! But I asked both kids if they wanted to sit on Santa’s lap and both said no without hesitation….what kind of mom would I be if I deprived them of their right to sit on the big guy’s lap…and my right to see their reaction 😉 It went just as I expected. The screams commenced and Isabella grabbed her Tootsie’s arm like her life depended on it. Pure Magic! I posted the photo on my Instagram Story, but I’m sure it’ll show up on my feed at some point LOL.

Sunday was a little rocky with my little guy. My sister came to visit and Isabella had a great time playing with her cousin. I barely saw her all day. Gabriel still has some anxiety around people he doesn’t see often so he was cranked up…plus not napping well I’m thinking due to the molar he’s working on. Fun fun!

The weather was perfect though and I was able to wear my new adorable, lightweight cardigan perfect for layering and the softest ever white sweater from Sweet Lupine.
