Looking for a fun Christmas Eve tradition?! Create a Christmas Eve Box! They’re loads of fun and packed full of goodies to create a memorable evening.

For a couple years now on Christmas Eve we’ve let the kids open one present, the Christmas Eve box! It’s such a fun tradition that creates a memorable evening for them! The box is fairly inexpensive and usually filled with things you would probably get your kids during the holidays anyway. Saving it for one evening builds the excitement before Santa comes!
Our Christmas Eve box contains a soft blanket, new pair of holiday pajamas, a book to read together, and a Christmas movie to watch after! No movie is complete without popcorn and hot chocolate, so be sure to throw a bag of microwavable popcorn and packets of hot cocoa inside.

My kids loved their new blankets and books! You can check out our list of favorite holiday books here.
All comfy and cozy watching their new movie and cuddled up with blankets!

Some other cute ideas to fill your Christmas Eve box:
- socks
- slippers
- juice boxes
- reindeer food to leave for Santa
- candy canes
