Copycat Starbucks Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher

Sharing is caring!

There’s something about a Starbucks drink that makes my kids light up the minute they see that green straw. So when they recently asked if we could stop and grab the new Starbucks Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher, I totally got it—it’s colorful, fruity, and fun. But at $6.45 a pop for a grande, that wasn’t in our summer budget. Instead, I decided to recreate it at home using ingredients we already had on hand—and let me tell you, this copycat Starbucks Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher might just be even better!

Not only did this drink turn out refreshingly delicious, but it also became a little summer tradition. The kids love helping slice strawberries and shake up the drink in a mason jar. Plus, the vibrant red-blue hue looks so fun with reusable straws, and they love sipping it out by the pool.

This recipe uses just a few simple ingredients, including lemonade, blue raspberry syrup (for that bold berry flavor and color), fresh strawberries, and strawberry boba for a fun twist. You can also toss in mint or basil if you like an herbal note.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 tbsp blue raspberry syrup
  • 2–3 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tbsp strawberry boba
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Ice
  • Optional: fresh mint or basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. In a mason jar or cocktail shaker, combine lemonade, blue raspberry syrup, lemon juice, and sliced strawberries.
  2. Add ice and shake well for 10–15 seconds until chilled.
  3. Place strawberry boba in the bottom of your serving glass.
  4. Pour the mixture over ice and garnish with extra berries or a lemon wedge.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy with a wide straw.

Tips & Variations:

  • Add green tea for a subtle caffeine boost like the original Starbucks Refreshers.
  • Substitute raspberry or berry-flavored syrup if you can’t find blue raspberry.
  • Use frozen berries to keep the drink extra cold without watering it down.
  • Make a big batch in a pitcher for playdates or pool parties!
