I’ve talked a lot about creative and imaginative play lately on here and my social media, but when you witness your child engaging with their imagination it’s just so amazing to watch. My oldest will soon be turning 4 and her creativity has been remarkable. She loves to play dress-up, fight crime, and build creations with blocks. Recently we were gifted magnetic, stack-able tiles and she has played incessantly with them, incorporating them with her figurines and cars.
Shape Mags is a magnetic, tile building set that let’s your child explore their creativity. They’re actually fun for the whole family too! My husband loved building with her and made a castle come to life! Shape Mags are even great for our littlest toddler for learning colors and shapes.
Family Fun
Shape Mags are fun for the whole family! On Father’s Day we pulled them out and sat together on the floor building castles, knocking them down, and starting over again! It’s not every day we find something that even my husband is interested in.
Independent Play
Shape Mags are great for independent play! I’m not even kidding when I say that Isabella plays with them every single day. When I go to see what she’s up to, she’s usually designing something new with her Shape Mags. She creates boxes, little houses, for her tiny figurines, builds trains for transporting Shimmer & Shine and so many other things. These tiles provide HOURS of fun which empowers her creativity and mind.
Learning Tools for Toddlers
Whenever Isabella pulls them out, we’ll set aside a stack for Gabriel to use. He likes to stack the shapes together and I’ll ask him to find all the yellow ones, or blue ones. This method helps in teaching him 1) colors, 2) shapes.
Travel
We’re taking a long road trip soon and I plan on packing our Shape Mags for sure. Since they’re magnetic we’ll use a cookie sheet on the kids’ laps for the Shape Mags to stick to so that they can play in the car.
I would highly recommend Shape Mags to anyone with kids 3+ (even including teenagers!). If your child has a love for building and architecture then these would be great for them! They’re such a fun learning tool that keeps the mind active and constantly developing.
You can find Shape Mags on Amazon: Starter Set (60 pcs) or 100 pc set with Wheel bases.
Follow them on social media for tons of ideas for play!

The cookie sheet idea is genius! We have a base but only one - the cookie sheet is perfect since I have 2 girls!
