Earth Day is a few days away and my oldest has been celebrating in school all week. She’s brought home a big poster where she colored the earth and glued on pieces of cotton balls for the clouds and also made a butterfly out of a coffee filter, some paints and a clothespin. Pinterest is filled with super cute activities to help teach preschoolers all about taking care of their earth and environment.
One of our favorite organic baking mix brands, Foodstirs, has an Earth Day Celebration kit that the kids and I had a blast making together. Tiny planters filled with snickerdoodles and topped with organic green icing (grass), crushed chocolate cookies (dirt), and garnished with squiggly gummy worms! You can purchase a kit with this link.
