Cold and flu season is here and my kids have been attacked with another case of the sniffles. We decided to keep it low key over the weekend with quiet activities and a family favorite movie viewing of Finding Dory. Thanks to Kleenex we were able to rent a free movie, clean up little messes, and wipe runny noses. Now that’s a powerful tissue! 😉

 As moms we never know when an illness will hit, but we always have to be prepared. That’s why when I stock up on my favorite bulk items at BJs Wholesale I always make sure to grab a large case of Kleenex. We have them scattered throughout the house for all of life’s little messes and sniffly noses.

We were so excited when Finding Dory was released in theaters and now for a limited time Kleenex® – Finding Dory designs can be found in your local BJs Wholesale.

You can also get a free movie rental with Fandango just by uploading your receipt with any Kleenex purchase. Pretty cool! So we decided to make a family afternoon out of it complete with a themed snack and coloring activity.

We love making fun popcorn snacks, so for the snack we used blue spray food coloring to transform our popcorn into blue ocean water and added some goldfish snacks to swim around in it. Instead of using bowls that are prone to spills by my little toddlers we utilized a couple empty Kleenex boxes to hold our treat. The best part of this treat is that you can find almost everything you need in one trip to BJs. (Kleenex tissues were located along the back wall along with other household paper items.)

My little ones have a hard time sitting through an entire movie so I added a fun coloring activity to go with the Disney® Finding Dory theme. You can download these free printable coloring pages here.

Sometimes it’s hard to slow our little ones down when they’re not feeling well, but with a family favorite movie, low key activity, and Kleenex by our side they’re sure to get the R&R they need.

Disney® Finding Dory Movie Popcorn

Ingredients

Popcorn
Blue Food Coloring Spray
Goldfish Snacks
Empty Kleenex boxes

1. Lay popcorn in a single layer on a flat baking sheet.
2. Spray generously with blue food coloring, stirring after a few sprays.
3. Sprinkle goldfish snacks in your popcorn.
4. Add snack mix into empty Kleenex boxes.
