FUN AFTERNOON SNACK WITH PILLSBURY CRESCENT ROLLS

Sharing is caring!

What a weekend! Prior to going on vacation a couple weeks ago the entire family was sick. We had relief for vacation, but after arriving back home were hit with it once again…and harder. The kids and I have been experiencing a hacking cough like no other. My poor girl had it the worst and received medication for it, a steroid which in turn gave her the biggest man appetite ever. LOL I’m not sure if this is a real side effect, but considering her small stature – I relished  every second of it! While she was on the mend, my little guy and I were in complete survival mode during the day. It took every ounce of my energy to keep all three of us alive and functioning (mostly) on Friday and Saturday. We were so thankful to have Daddy home on Sunday!!

My girl was really sweet with her brother, patting his head when he would cry saying “It’s OK, buddy. I’m here.”. He wasn’t really crazy about it and it made him cry harder, but it was sweet nonetheless. Taking advantage of Walmart’s grocery pickup is a great way to save time and money since I won’t impulse buy….except on my last order I grabbed a can of Pillsbury Crescent rolls. So during naptime Isa and I whipped up a sweet batch of crescent rolls in 4 different varieties! Her favorite? The Funfetti of course!

The rest of the weekend was filled with cake pops (because Mommy needed liquid energy), movie nights in bed (Moana on repeat), and a brief period of outdoor play! The Florida humidity was insane this weekend. If there was a good weekend to be sick at home, it was this weekend.
