Getting a Little Help from bObi

One of the benefits of owning a dog is their excellent vacuum skills. I never realized just how much our little dog cleaned up after the kids until she was gone. That’s when we adopted bObi. 

For those of you that know me personally, you may not have known that our little Lulu no longer lives with us. I’ve had my little furball for 6 years and she has been the most loyal companion I could ever ask for. Since the kids came along she’s taken the backseat and done so with grace. However, every time my sister would come to visit she attempted to take her back time after time. It got me thinking how much better her life would be if she went with her.

So one of the last visits, Lulu took the trip to North Carolina and has been living in doggy heaven ever since. There are still moments when I’m doing something and expect her to be right there. Even when I’m getting in bed I sometimes go to pick her up…there will never be another dog that compares to her, and her little hoover skills, but I have found the most amazing little robotic vacuum named bObi. He may not be furry or cuddly, but those sucking skills are on point.

As Christmas Eve approached, I started feeling the pressure of a lengthy to-do list. Wrapping, cooking, cleaning, along with the every day tasks and entertaining the little ones started weighing on me.

Thankfully bObi gifted me the most amazing present a mom could ever ask for, a little robotic vacuum that knows its job and does it well.

As much as I say food should be limited to the kitchen there is still a trail of crumbs all over the house. I was vacuuming every.single.day.

Getting a Little Help from bObi

Christmas Eve day I set the kids up with some snacks and coloring while I organized and bObi vacuumed the entire house! He moved from room to room with ease hoovering the little trails my darling children left along with the sandy footprints my wonderful husband tramped through the house. I no longer have to be exasperated with my family because of this wonderful little guy. My pal bOb is here to stay!

bObi gets tucked in for juicing out of the way in a little corner. Gabriel thought he was so fun, while Isabella screamed with true terror. She has never been a fan of any vacuum.

To be fair she once attempted to help me vacuum and the hose accidentally sucked on her hair. I guess that’s pretty traumatic to a little girl who dreams of having Rapunzel locks.
