Recently we shared how we converted our never-used dining room into a guest room just in time for the holidays. We love having family and friends come to visit and hope to have my husband’s father come stay for extended periods of time, so we needed a designated space to make them feel welcome.
When you have guests scheduled to arrive for the holidays, it’s good practice to put on fresh sheets, lay out bathroom essentials, and clean from top to bottom since this may be a space that isn’t frequently used. For our holiday refresh, I headed off to Kohl’s to select some cozy winter bedding.
HOW TO REFRESH YOUR GUEST ROOM FOR HOLIDAY GUESTS
We started by swapping out bed linens with a white pucker stripe full bed set and sheet set by The Big OneⓇ. I love the neutral color and print (gray trellis). Crisp white bedding and shams are a great base color to layer upon in any guest room.

I like to add fresh flowers in the guest room to side tables and extra blankets in a wicker basket. Clean towels, wash cloths and toiletries are kept in a basket in the cabinet.
