Keep those little fingers and bellies happy this holiday season with an easy kid friendly charcuterie board filled with meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies.
All month long, there seems to be endless holiday gatherings to attend and/or host. All of those Pinterest recipes look so good, but with so many steps and an end result that my kids may not even touch. This year we took the ever-so popular charcuterie board and tailored it to be kid-friendly and full of whole ingredients.
Kid Friendly Charcuterie Board
Creating a tasty charcuterie board doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Take short cuts whenever possible and opt for pre-sliced fruits and veggies, packaged crackers, and cut cheeses and meats.

We packed ours full of protein-rich nuts and crackers, the kids’ favorite fruits and veggies I know they’ll eat. The holidays are meant to be joyous, not spent arguing with your picky-eater kids. You’re basically tricking them into thinking they’re snacking, while they’re actually eating all their food groups. Plus it couldn’t be easier to prepare using Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup.
We filled our charcuterie board with:
- roasted sea salt almonds
- crackers
- mini pepperoni slices
- cheddar cheese
- grapes on the vine
- broccoli
- golden raisins
- baby carrots
- apple slices
- cucumber wedges
- mozzarella cheese sticks
