Before kids, cooking was always a passion of mine. I watched hours on hours of cooking shows on TV at my leisure. The kitchen was my oasis. While I gained ideas from watching these shows and reading over recipes, I rarely ever measured and usually always substituted something. Now my daughter has been experiencing interest in the kitchen when she sees me making something and I love it! She’s always eager to help in any way. That’s why I’m so excited about the kid’s cooking class with Chef Marcus Samuelsson at Macy’s next weekend! These classes are great for kids to spark enthusiasm and build skills in the kitchen while having a blast!
Macy’s Culinary Council is hosting a super fun event for kids with the youngest chef to receive a 3-star restaurant review from the The New York Times, Chef Marcus Samuelsson! Chef was born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden so he has a unique style to bring to the culinary world…and your kitchen by way of the kids!
