Having trouble keeping your kids craft supplies organized? Here are a few ideas that will keep the organization going long-term.

Raise your hand if your kids have crayons, markers, and little scraps of paper sprinkled around your home like confetti. Yep. Me too. I had to get it under control for my sanity’s sake.
I gave my kids a mission to collect any supplies they had laying around and bring it back to home base. The craft cart. From there I spent about 10 minutes total putting their craft supplies into an organization system.

Kids Craft Supply Organization

I picked up this rolling 6 basket cart from Michael’s a couple years back. Sadly I can’t find it online or in the store anymore. I love that the baskets are removable though and deep enough for bins and holding stacks of paper.
I found that the one basket that contained smaller drawer bins was the one out of all 6 that remained the most organized. So once I saw these $2 sets of flexible bins I tackled the remaining 5 baskets in hopes of the same level of long-term organization.

A quick timelapse of the organization in progress. It tends to be therapeutic for some so I included it. 😉
Organizing pens, pencils, markers and other craft supplies in separate smaller bins helps to keep them in-order long-term.
I used this slim storage box to hold their construction paper. This forces my kids to actually make a neat pile versus just throwing it in the basket haphazardly.
