Lorena Canals – A Machine Washable Solution to Your Messy Kids

Sharing is caring!

In just a few short weeks our tiny little girl will be turning 3. It’s a big deal in my mind. Somewhere in between 2 and 3 she has grown from a baby to a “child”. I’ve watched her grow so much in this past year physically and mentally it’s amazing. From stringing short phrases into actual sentences and conversations. From waddling around to full force running like a lunatic through the house. And even from passing down her role as baby of the family to her little brother. She’s sacrificed so much during this past year, but it hasn’t phased her a bit. She’s stepped into her new position with as much grace as a two year old could possibly have, ranging in moods from divalicious little terror, prancing around saying “I just can’t.”, to sweet little mama bear being overly protective of her cub (“Put my Gabriel down!”)

For the past year we’ve discussed the best time to convert her crib to a big girl bed. Now in my mind, she will always be a little baby. She’s as petite as can be and has never once tried to climb out of bed. Can’t we just keep her in there until she’s 5?! Apparently no is the answer to that. So for her 3rd birthday her present will be a new bed and bedding.

But before we make any changes I wanted to remember her room the way it is now. The color scheme will still be the same, just minor changes here and there. One thing is for sure though, our Lorena Canals Rug will be worked into any plans we have for this room. For whatever reason, Isabella’s room has always been the place to be. It’s the cool room, the hangout spot. (Mind you, we have a play room…that hardly ever gets used.) But ever since we laid out our new handmade rug, you’ll pretty much find the whole family in there. It’s so soft and inviting and not to mention amazing because it’s a machine washable rug. I’ll say it again…Machine Washable!!!!  What a brilliant idea! Now I don’t have to turn into a crazy mom chasing after the kids with their snacks and drinks.

While I normally test out any product to its fullest capabilities before letting you all in on my thoughts, I didn’t really have plans on testing out the  machine washable part of this rug so quickly. Our dog had other plans. But it held up great! I just fit it in our washing machine on the gentle cycle and laid flat to dry, although you can toss it in the dryer on a very low heat setting. We need a Lorena Canals Rug in every room! Lorena Canals offers rugs in various sizes and colors to match any room in your house.

[…] couple months ago I shared Isabella’s room on the blog. Finally after living in our house for just over a year, I’ve finished Gabriel’s room! […]

Love your choice on the rug, it's so divalicious! I'm sure it will look great in her big girl room which, by the way, I can't even handle to read. I can't handle how fast time goes! I can not believe my teeny baby is about to be ONE!
