Disney World is literally my favorite for all holidays! We were so excited to be invited to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party this year!! The event is such a blast and the kids enjoyed seeing all the characters and going on the rides. My dream is to go to Disney the night before they turn it into a Christmas Wonderland. One day it’s Halloween and the next it’s a magical Christmas party!

The kids dressed up as Ariel from the Little Mermaid and Mickey Mouse. I had dreams of making my daughter a unicorn tutu costume, but her eyes set on the Ariel costume in Marshall’s one day….dreams crushed LOL. My little guy’s costume was literally the easiest thing to put together and even more perfect that he can wear the pieces on a typical day! I’ll link his entire outfit at the bottom of this post.

With our Halloween party passes we were able to get into the park at 4 PM. This allowed us plenty of time to hit up some rides ( It’s a Small World, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party, and the Barnstormer) before the party started at 7 PM. The wait times were minimal for a Friday in the late afternoon. If you saw my Instagram stories then you know my daughter wasn’t a fan of The Barnstormer LOL. This is a junior rollercoaster and probably a little too fast for my 4 year old. I thought it was really fun though.

At 7:40 PM was the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular in front of the castle. The light show was really fun! If your little ones aren’t quite into that then you can start making your way to the trick-or-treating stations located throughout the park. There is also a really fun Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball located in Tomorrowland all night long.

We watched the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade at 9:15 PM featuring our favorite characters Mickey & the gang, Peter Pan and Hook and lots of others!

If your kids can hang around, the fireworks start at 10:15 PM. My daughter is currently afraid of fireworks, so we caught the sight without the booms on the monorail back to the parking lot. 😉 All in all, we had a GREAT time! I always love seeing my kids dance around in the happiest place on earth with some of their favorite characters!! For more information, visit WDW info here.

So cute! I love that you took your littles to Disney world. SO many kids miss out on the magic of it when they're younger.

I’ve never been to the Disney parks but we did go on a Disney cruise a few years ago and it was the best experience! I would do it again in a heart beat!

My #1 goal is to take my boys to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Because Halloween is our favorite time of the year and we've never been there.
