The time has come again to start preparing for potty training our son. You can read more about our potty training journey with our daughter a little over a year ago. It was traumatic, yet successful. I wanted to quit almost immediately and I’m hoping that if I prepare a little more this time around it will help. Quite honestly, I hear that boys are harder to train than girls so I’m afraid. Like really afraid. The first time around we dove head first into it and hoped for the best. I want to take a different approach this time which will hopefully bear less stress on us all.

2. Tailor to the child’s likes.

Potty training is definitely not easy and it seems to be harder with boys. Ive been involved in potty training both my niece and nephew and she was a breeze compared to him.
