Designing our new kitchen was so much fun for me. We knew our pain points from previous homes and were better equipped with knowledge for our current home. We knew we wanted Samsung Home Appliances because they’re affordable, beautiful and have served us well in the past.
Our refrigerator is a sleek, modern, fingerprint resistant (because kids) stainless steel French Door refrigerator and tons of storage space. Over time we’ve worked out a system that works for us and wanted to share how we organize our fridge for maximum functionality.

1. Clear it out!
The first step in any organization project is to clear out the space and clean it up. This step will allow you to discard any expired items and condense any opened packages of the same item.
Clean your shelves and drawers well. I find that the freezer drawers collect the most crumbs from opened bags of fries, waffles, etc. We’re going to help solve this issue though!
2. Group Like Items
During the clearing out phase you’ll group your similar items together as you would find them in the grocery store. What I love most about our Samsung refrigerator is all the storage space, crisper drawers and dividers.
You can use baskets or clear bins to organize your food groups. They’ll aid in keeping your items organized and easily accessible.
3. Use Lazy Susans for condiments
There’s nothing quite like shifting things around to find what you’re looking for….and when you’re cooking it’s even more of a nuisance. By using lazy susans for your condiments, jars and sauces, you’ll easily be able to find what you’re looking for with just a quick spin.
4. Create a Snack Station
Another huge selling point for our Samsung double door fridge was the lower, wide fridge drawer. This area is low enough for our kids to be able to reach in and find a healthy snack quickly. The fridge drawer dividers will help separate your snack items.
5. Use Multi-Purpose bins in the freezer
This recent addition to our fridge organization was groundbreaking. The top slide out freezer drawer can hold small bath bins for sorting frozen food items.
The lower freezer drawer can be organized with multi-purpose bins in various sizes to group your frozen food categories. By grouping your items you’ll easily be able to see what you need on your next grocery run.
Not only does our Samsung refrigerator look beautiful in our kitchen design, but it works well at keeping us organized.
