A couple months ago I shared Isabella’s room on the blog. Finally after living in our house for just over a year, I’ve finished Gabriel’s room! Yay! I have been very particular about what I wanted and think you can pretty much categorize his room as a rustic contemporary nursery. I also wasn’t sure I would ever be happy with what we created in this house because topping his original nursery in our NJ home was going to be hard.
The color scheme we went with was white and gray with hints of navy blue and yellow. I love subtle overall colors with pops here and there. My husband and his dad handmade the round table next to his rocker and painted it bright yellow.
Elephant Lamp (similar)// Curtains // Glider
One of the most fun additions we made to his room is his teepee. Isabella and Gabriel love hanging out in there with books and their toy laptops. They play peek-a-boo and try to get me to tie them in every single time.
Explore Sign // Teepee // Crib // Motorcycle Rocker // Spotted Muslim Blanket // Custom Name Plaque
Recently I found a small shop located in Canada called Homeworks Etc. that designs and sells decor for nurseries and kids rooms. The name plaque hanging from the top of the teepee is customized with Gabriel’s name on it. Sometimes we would find things that we would love the style, but not the color. The initials hanging above his crib are from Old Time Pottery and were painted to match the decor.
The plush motorcycle rocker is from Rockabye. You can read my review of these rockers here. They’re a super cute addition to any kids room or playroom.
The spotted blanket is one of my all-time favorites from the brand Modern Burlap. If you haven’t yet seen them, be sure to check them out here. They have so many organic cotton swaddle blankets to choose from and now changing pad covers and sheets to match!
The Explore 3D picture is from another great shop I discovered on Instagram called Mockys. Mockys sells adorable and customizable 3D wall art, baby moccasins, and clothing sets perfect for baby showers. You can check them out at their website.
Arrow Wall Hook Trio // U.S.H. organizer // Sleeper // Teething Necklaces // Bibdandas // Fox Scout Wood Sign
The 3 hook arrow wall hanger is also from Homework Etc. I have Gabriel’s bath towel, Zipadee Zip Flying Squirrel sleeper hung on it along with his U.S.H. organizer to hold all his hats, Copper Pearl bibs and Lux and Bloom teething necklaces.
Wooden Car // Teething Paci Clip
Now I get to brag about my hubby. I came home from Walmart with a $5 mirror and asked him if he could help it out. He built and stained this gorgeous wooden frame with a little ledge perfect for displaying Gabriel’s wooden toy car and holding his teething paci clip. We’re constantly search for one of his pacifiers that usually ends up behind his crib, so having a spare one out of reach is useful. Plus we are just a little obsessed with all the sweet things Lux and Bloom shop owner, Lydia, makes for us!
I’ve linked pretty much everything I could find online so make sure you click the links in the photo captions for more details!
