While he had a brad nailer, it required the use of an air compressor. As a beginner DIYer, I preferred the cordless option.

Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless AirStrike 18-Gauge Brad Nailer
The Ryobi Brad Nailer is compact and eliminates the need for a bulky and loud air compressor. It can shoot nails 5/8 to 2 inches in length making it a great tool to have on hand for woodworking projects, trim and moulding projects and wall panels.
