HOW TO CREATE A SIMPLE HOLIDAY TABLESCAPE

A recent hobby of mine has been creating Pinterest-worthy table settings for family get-togethers. Maybe I have a ways to go for that, but I think this years holiday Thanksgiving table looked really beautiful!
Do you have the perfect turkey recipe or holiday side dishes? We’ve got you covered!

Step 1: Round Up Fall Decor
Take a walk around your home and select a few simple pieces of decor. Mix and match different textures and sizes. Have a garland on your mantel? Snag it to use down the middle of the table.
If you don’t want to take away from your home decor, you can do this inexpensively too. Target Dollar Spot has adorable stuffed pumpkins in a variety of neutral colors. If you see those little white lanterns, they’ll work as well! Be sure to check out the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line at Target.

Step 2: Start Arranging the Table
Start with a basic neutral tablecloth and add a rustic runner down the middle. A piece of burlap will work too. Next drape your garland down the center creating a wave shape to leave room for serving dishes.
Next, scatter mini pumpkins, decorative balls and leaves around the garland, leaving space for table settings. The key is not to overdo your decor and overwhelm dinner guests.

Add chilled bottles of wine or our delicious Red Apple Sangria to your table settings.
