SPREAD KINDNESS WITH ORANGE GLAZED MUFFINS

Having a four year old daughter has slightly resembled a teenage girl recently. Every day is a lesson in how to have patience, share and show kindness to others. Some days are harder than others, but my kids truly do love to make people happy. Even though the holidays and giving season has passed, we’ve been trying to keep the momentum going. Wouldn’t it be awesome to see that holiday spirit shown all year long?! My kids and I decided to spread kindness to our neighbors by baking and delivering delicious orange muffins with a light glaze to each of them.

Toddlers love being involved and feeling accomplished and that’s one of the reasons why we love Cuties so much. They’re easy for little hands to peel and so deliciously sweet for snacking. We decided to get creative and use our fresh Cuties to bake up a sweet treat for our wonderful neighbors. We feel so lucky to live on a street filled with kids around the same age and helpful, friendly neighbors!

Kid friendly recipes are our specialty and baking up these orange muffins was so fun and easy to do. I prefer baking from scratch. It really doesn’t take that much longer and the results are so much tastier. Plus my little ones love helping scoop and pour the ingredients in the mixing bowls. They helped peel the Cuties while I mixed up all the ingredients. After topping with a simple orange glaze, we packed them in clear treat bags and fixed dried Cuties slices on the outside for a sweeter touch before delivering to the neighbors.
