Bright & White
Incorporating white elements will help to brighten a space. Summer colors tend to be white, cream and various shades of blue. You can freshen walls and trim with a clean white paint.
Painting our fireplace was one of our home renovation goals for this year. I just took our gray stone fireplace and painted it SW Pure White (same as the walls) and it made a huge impact on the feel of this room.
Add Shells
Can’t go to the beach? Bring the beach home. A few modern coastal pieces make a statement on a mantel. I found this darker blue coral piece, large white shell and a filler pack of seashells all at Bealls Outlet.
