TOMORROW SLEEP: A ONE WEEK UPDATE

Sleep. Dreamt about by parents all over the world and despised by their children. Gone are the days when I can come home from work and slip right into bed for a quick nap. Now I dream about sleeping again as soon as my alarm sounds in the morning. My husband and I had each mentioned to each other that we were waking up sore and it was possibly time to hunt for a new mattress. We’ve been sleeping on the new mattress for a little over a week now and thought we’d share an update.

The main issue we had with our previous mattress was that it was too hard. Tomorrow Sleep offers two different mattresses: medium soft and medium hard. Because of the big difference in firmness it took a few days for our bodies to adjust, but I can honestly say this mattress is extremely comfortable while being low profile. This goes to show that the depth of your mattress doesn’t really mean much since our prior mattress was high profile.

Simply remove the mattress and place on your box spring or platform bed before removing the plastic for a much simpler setup. The mattress will start to decompress as soon as you remove the plastic and takes about 24-48 hours until it reaches its final shape.

If you have tiny little ones that creep into your bed at night (and even if you don’t) you should absolutely grab a mattress protector. They are waterproof and help keep you cool at night. One of our other struggles has always been finding sheets that are comfortable and keep us cool without breaking the bank. The Supima cotton sheets are by far my favorite, honestly. I need to grab another set!
