Juicy Juice is our favorite 100% juice to cool off on a warm day. Up-cycle your juice box into a fun planter craft idea for the kids.
I’ve officially lost track of how many days we’ve been home together. I just know that random projects and crafts have kept us all happy and sane!
Juicy Juice has been our #1 100% juice since I was a kid. Since we always have them on hand, we decided to take our empty juice boxes and up-cycle into a seed starter.
My kids love hanging out with and helping their grandfather water his plants in the garden. We went to him to grab our soil and seeds before getting started. (I have a black thumb.)
Seed Starter + Juice Box Planter
- empty juice box
- washi tape
- potting soil
Cut a piece of paper long and wide enough to wrap around your juice box. Let your kids color, design and decorate it.
Adult: Take a serrated knife and cut the top off the juice box. Kids: wrap the decorated paper around the juice box and glue together.
Fill the juice box with potting soil and seeds per package instructions. Place in a sunny area and water regularly.
This is a fun activity that will give your kids something to do every day! Water the seeds daily and watch them grow.
