I’m going to let you in on a little secret…I haven’t been to the salon in over 2 years since my youngest was born. The horror! To say I was overdue would be an understatement. Let’s be real though, most moms are so busy taking care of everyone else that they barely have time for themselves. Stop! You deserve your me-time and self-care. Thank you Whole Aveda for making me realize that and inviting me to come for some much needed relaxation and hair rejuvenation!

From the moment I walked in the door I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt my nervousness diminish and excitement rise. It’s not easy leaving your stylist behind when you move and finding a new one. There’s a level of trust you need with your stylist. You’re putting your head in their hands! I met with Daniella, the balayage and extension specialist, who sat me down and asked me what I wanted. We discussed our options which can be somewhat limited when you have dark hair. She set realistic expectations and weighed in on the style and if it would work for me. While I wanted a drastic change in color we settled on a compromise that would ensure the integrity of my hair would remain in tact. Stripping dark hair can be damaging and should be done in steps over time.

The entire experience was so relaxing! Daniella explained each step as it was done. While waiting for my hair to process I was offered water/tea/coffee and a complimentary service. Kalina led me back to the spa area and performed the most amazing hand treatment. Once the activation gel was applied, my hands instantly felt warm as she massaged them. Almost certain I fell asleep for a minute. Ha!

I mentioned that Daniella explained each step, but she also showed me each product she was using on my hair. At the end, she had placed on the products in a basket to give me a chance to look through and purchase if I wanted…no pressure! (which I loved!) I did choose to buy the Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair because I loved how healthy and smooth it made my hair look while protecting from heat styling.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service at Whole Aveda Salon and would recommend anyone in the area to go see them! The entire staff was so friendly and my hair turned out beautifully! I left with a great color and healthy looking hair. Thanks Daniella &  Whole Aveda!
