Your Picks: The Best Backpacks + Lunch Boxes for Back to School
LL Bean Jr + Original Kids’ Backpack
This backpack is available in junior size (ages 4-7) and Original Kids in several different colors. Ours held up really well last year and still going strong although my daughter wanted a new color. Use code BONUS25 to save 25% now through 7/19.
PBK Backpacks
Sooo many of you rave about the quality of Pottery Barn backpacks and lunch bags. They come in a HUGE variety of colors/prints/sizes along with matching lunch boxes, thermos and containers.
SkipHop – Toddler Backpack
If you have a little one going into preschool or daycare that requires a backpack, these are extremely popular and adorable. Plus available in Target which is a win.
Bentgo
This was the most popular bento style kids lunch box that was recommended. My daughter gave up PBJs last year and I was struggling with multiple containers in her lunch box. The Bentgo has perfect size compartments and easy for little fingers to open.
Yumbox
Along the same lines as the previous bento-style lunchbox, Yumbox is a lightweight, leakproof option that features an easy to open latch.
Sistema Containers
These are a great option if you don’t want a bento lunchbox. We used them for rolled up lunch meat, dry snacks, fruit, etc. You can customize which size/shape you need.
Adidas Lunch Bag
Kids insulated training lunch bag is available in 4 different colors (black, pink, blue, red) and only $20.
Other ideas were thirty-one lunch bags, Thermos Funtainers for sending hot lunches, Contigo insulated water bottles and a pricier eco-friendly bento box from Planet Box.
