We are two days away from the most magical month of the year. The best time to be a kid is most certainly during the holiday season. Christmas is a time filled with joy, twinkling lights and happier children (because Santa knows…). While we don’t typically go to any fancy parties, we do plenty of other indoor and outdoor activities requiring casual winter style from one of our favorite stores, Gymboree!
As my kids get older, they become more independent and particular with their clothing choices. This year I decided to let my kids pick out their own clothes/outfits right from Gymboree.com. Gymboree’s winter style did not disappoint and the kids were sooo happy when their orders arrived!

Each individual piece is just so adorable and I love that they picked separates that can be worn with different outfits. Isabella’s favorite part of her outfit was, of course, the super soft fuzzy sweatshirt. My little guy is obsessed with boots and didn’t want to take off his duck boots!! Gymboree has the best options for holiday parties, casual activities, or just family movie night in pajamas!
Recently I shared some of our favorite holiday traditions including cozying up indoors, baking cookies and crafting. While we do love being inside, we have some fun outdoor traditions as well.
Outdoor Family Traditions
- Visiting a local tree farm. Even if you don’t buy a real tree, experiencing the farm is so much fun! They usually have activities and sights for the kids along with hot chocolate.
- Taking a ride on the Polar Express. This was our first year doing it and we had a blast!
- Roasting marshmallows outside.
- Going to Disney World/Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party.

Very cute kiddos in very cute clothes. My daughter always pick out her own clothes and I love her style, its so fun and colorful and she get so proud. Have a happy holiday <3
