My favorite part about summer is longer evenings and ice cold sweet treats to cool down. Also…adorable fashion for my little ones. I die over tiny swimsuits, swing dresses and rompers. Isabella definitely shares my love for fashion and all things girly!
We decided to try out the ice cream shop, Papa Clyde’s, that receives rave reviews from the locals. The shop was decked out in white tile and trim in black and red with retro tables and the cutest kid height bar counter & stools. The ice cream and ambience surely didn’t disappointment….however the company could’ve been a little more pleasant. It’s probably my fault. I should’ve been more aware of my kids’ moods.
Two licks in and my toddlers were done. ??♀️ Where their energy came from afterwards is beyond me because it definitely wasn’t a sugar high. Isabella finally got fed up with me asking her if she was done her ice cream and responded back with a properly placed “I don’t want this freakin thing.”. Man did a booth of ladies have a field day with that one. Was it the worst thing a sponge-like toddler could say? Doubtful. But it certainly was a reaction she got from her mother. Had she said the true form of the F word I would’ve been on the phone yelling at my husband. ?
It may not have been the best trip out for ice cream but at least she looked really cute, right?! ??♀️ Isabella’s romper is from the adorable brand French Toast. They specialize in school uniforms but have the most adorable street wear for the out-of-school summers. They have everything from shorts, tanks, and dresses for styling kids in between the school years. Almost everything is on sale with tanks as low as $2! Shop now.
