As parents we are there for all the big moments in our children’s lives. From the first smile, their first steps, and the first time they use the potty. With every milestone we tend to show more and more excitement and our little ones love our praise in response! So why not go over the top and throw your toddler a potty training party with Pull-Ups!
My daughter LOVES parties, so on one of our grocery trips to our local Walmart Neighborhood Market we picked up a few supplies to throw a potty training party.
And of course while you’re there you’ll need to pick up some Pull-Ups training pants!
A great way to add excitement into your potty training party is to involve your little one in the process. This helps them to feel like they still have some control and feel like a big boy or girl. Pull-Ups has fun prints your little ones will surely love like Doc McStuffins and Princess Sofia for girls, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse, and Cars for boys!
So now that you’ve gathered your party supplies, you’ll need some items your little one can enjoy while they’re hanging out on their new potty. We selected some jewelry (Isabella LOVES bracelets and necklaces), nail polish for Potty Pedis, potty training books, and of course some reward candy! What’s even better is that you can find ALL of these items for your party at Walmart!
Pull-Ups | Huggies wipes | Jewelry | Nail Polish
Supplies:
- Pull-Ups Training Pants
- Huggies One & Done baby wipes
- Clothes pins
- String
- Streamers
- Balloons
- Books
- Nail Polish (for girls)
- Table cloth
- Reward candy or stickers
While we are training our little ones out of diapers, Huggies One & Done baby wipes are necessary for cleaning up accidents and changing after sleep. We use baby wipes for other simple household messes and sticky fingers too. I usually have a pack in each of the kid’s rooms, the diaper bag, and in the car.
We made sure to CELEBRATE every success to show her what an amazing job she’s doing becoming a BIG GIRL!
