One Big Happy Valentine’s Day with Gymboree

Happy Love month! Creating traditions for my little family is so important to me whether big or small. As each holiday approaches I try to find something special to do for my kids so that one day they’ll look back with so many fond memories. This year will be no different as I aim to put on one big happy Valentine’s Day!

Last Valentine’s Day I had an elaborate (for me) plan for the day. The night before I snuck into Isabella’s room with pink & red balloons and scattered them around for her to see when she woke on Valentine’s Day. My babes happily played with the balloons while I soaked it all in…savoring every last memory. For breakfast I attempted for the first time to create heart-shaped grain free pancakes. It failed miserably! LOL But that won’t stop me from trying again! Isabella and her daddy decorated cookies and this year Gabriel will be able to join in on the fun!

Dining out on a busy holiday like this just isn’t for me… especially with hangry, impatient kids. My top secret plan for this year involves the kids and I working on a little craft to create a kid friendly tablescape for a small family dinner. Thanks to Gymboree my babies will be dressed in their holiday finest!

I died over how adorable these two are in their outfits from Gymboree’s Cozy Valentine’s shop. My girl is such a princess, so of course she had to have the best twirl skirt! Although, I think the shoes are her favorite. She’s worn them almost every day since opening the box! But what I love most about their outfits is that they’re not limited to wearing for one day.
